WELCOME

CALL TO WORSHIP

God’s Spirit is upon, within, and all around us.
With hearts open to receive the good news of God’s good ways,
Let us come to worship God together.

* HYMN     #402     “We Are One”

PRAYER OF APPROACH
We like to think of ourselves as open to new ways and new ideas.
We tried that once and it didn’t work!
We claim to be welcoming and hospitable.
    Who invited that person?
And we truly desire help from new members.
We have always done it this way. (silence)
    Our Father . . . Amen.
